Hurling is an outdoor team sport of ancient Gaelic origin and played with sticks and a ball. The game, played primarily in Ireland, is arguably the world's fastest field team sport in terms of game play and is Ireland's national sport. We're currently looking for people that are interested in playing the great game of hurling.

Hello Everyone!  Please remember that we play again this Sunday from
11:30 to 1pm at Akron Indoor Soccer located at 73 W. Rosewood Avenue
off South Main Street in Firestone Park. (44301)   Please invite
people to come watch us or participate!   Spectators are fantastic as
they are the ones that spread the word about the game!

Sunday 12-25-2011 we are off...Christmas
Sunday 01-01-2012 we are off...New Years

We will continue the indoor session on Sunday 1-8-2012.

It was awesome to see everyone last week!  Please keep in mind that
your feedback regarding practice is greatly appreciated.  If you have
an ideas or would like to see us work on something we
haven’t…please…send us an e-mail or call us.

We will be making a few small changes to the game portion of practice
which will include a bigger playing area for the full backs and full
forwards.  Also…before taking a shot on goal…we will require ‘two
passes'!   This will keep us focused on team work and keeping our
heads up-field in an effort to improve game vision.

Super work last week guys and gals!  The enthusiasm and overall effort
was absolutely contagious!!!

Sincerely,

Michael Ruane
